Step 1 Greeting and warming up
Teacher and Students greet each other
Show a video of traffic accidents to arouse the students’feeling about the road safty.
Step 2 Lead-in
Show several pictures of a film called The Wandering Earth, in which there is a popular safty slogan to emphasize the importance of the traffic rules.
Let students have a competition in groups and review to see how much they know about major causes of road accidents and traffic rules.
Round 1: Ture or False sentences
Traffic laws don’t apply to cyclists and pedestrians.
Drivers speaking on mobile phone can not be fined.
Pedestrians are required to cross the road on a crossing.
Cyclist can ride on the pavement as they like.
Drivers are to blame for most of traffic accidents.
Each cyclist should give a signal when turning.
Round 2: Describe the Wrong Doing in the pictures
All the road users, including drivers, cyclists and pedestrians should obey the traffic rules.
Step 3 Practice in groups:Writing an action plan
Different topics:divide all the students into 6 groups,and ask each group to be
