By analyzing the article，students are able to understand the causes of the traffic accidents and how to project themselves when on the road 2. By cooperating to finish a poster, students’creativity and spoken English can be improved.

Step1 Lead in
Show some pictures and play a wonderful song “ see you again”,and
introduce Paul Walker who plays the leading actor in the film“fast and furious”,dying of a traffic accident. Meanwhile ,some data are given to know the traffic accidents at home and abroad
Step2 Fast reading
Students are asked to fast read the notice to get the general idea and answer the following questions
1.Who is to blame for the road accidents?

Para 1 the target readers of the notice
Para 2 the causes of accidents involving drivers, cyclists and pedestrians and some suggestions
Para 3&4 a call/ an appeal
Para 5 the reason for putting out the notice and the purpose of the notice
Step 3 Detailed reading

Q3:Suggestions for pedestrians
Step 4 Discussion
After fast reading and detailed reading, the students are encourage to work together to deeply think “Are there other causes of road accidents?”
