Lead-in

Have students quickly read paragraph 6 to better understand the language and meaning of the poem;

Guide students to read for the rhythm and the rhyme of the poem;

Guide students to read for the meaning and emotions in the poem;

Guide students to read for the figures of speech in the poem.

Creating and sharing original poems

Guide students to write the first stanza of an original poem about love by imitating “A Red, Red Rose”. Invite students to share their works in class.

Conclusion

Summarize what have been learned in this period and encourage students to love and express love.
