● Ask students some common musical instruments
●Share a short video of an orchestra performing the famous Chinese song My Motherland
Guessing game
Describe some musical instruments in word,then let students guess what musical instruments they are.
Have students read Part A carefully,and then complete in the following chart written on the blackboard.

Have students look at the pictures in Part B to learn more musical instruments.
Discussion
Ask students if they were a member of a band or an orchestra ,which musical instrument would you choose and the reason.

● What instruments are in the brass section?
