2)develop students’ ability of listening ,reading ,talking about some masters impressed them most and writing down his or feelings about the painting they like best.

Teaching Procedure
Step 1: Lead-in
1.Enjoy a movie clip and answer the following two questions.
1)Do you know the name of the film?( The Davinci Code )
2)Which famous artist and his masterpieces are mentioned in the film?(Leonardo da Vinci ,Masterpieces: the Last Supper & Mona Lisa)
2.Give students a little test to get a general idea about how much they know about the artists and their masterpieces.
Questions:1) Who is he ?
2) Whose painting is this ?
Students’ presentation .
Before the class ,teacher assign a task for each team :Choose their favorite artist ,and then prepare a PPT to introduce his life story to the whole class.
Step 2 Post-Test
After group presenter gives the introduction to the artist, let’s do a post-test about what the presenters have talked about.
1) What’s his nationality ?
Pablo Picasso (Spanish ) Leonardo da Vinci ( Italian ) Van Gogh ( French )

2) What kind of art form /style is his painting ?
