学情分析
Students in Senior 2, who have mastered a certain vocabulary and some reading strategies , sometimes fail to apply them to reading. Meanwhile, one of the students’ main drawbacks is that they are afraid to speak. Faced with this problem, I’ll create a harmonious and relaxing environment to aid them in building up confidence, have a better understanding of the passage, developing critical thinking ability and expressing themselves positively.

教学过程
Step1 Lead-in
1. Watch the video and answer the questions
2. Reading strategy: reading a travelogue
Step2 Fast reading
Let Ss go through the travelogue very quickly, and answer the two questions.
Step 3 Activity1-Careful reading (Group work)
Divide the class into four groups, and each group will go to a different museum. Discuss the exercises with group members on the paper. Then, share the information with the class together.
Step 4 Activity2-Competition (Group work)
Divide Ss into four groups. Ask them to discuss with other group members and prepare as many questions as they can and then have a competition.
Step 5 Activity3- Task-based reading
To consolidate what Ss have learnt.
Step 6 Activity4-role play
Suppose they were guides in a museum, get the students to form groups of four and introduce the painters to each other. Then have a presentation.
