The students are Senior Two students. They have a certain amount of vocabulary and grammar knowledge. They have learned the text “Harry Potter and the philosophy’s stone” in Project.
All the students are familiar with the topic of film in this unit. None of them have never seen a film. But few of them have known how to write a film review，especially a film review in English. Thus this is our task to help the students know what should be included in a good film review and write a film review by themselves.
All the students have seen the film “Coco” before class, and they are familiar with the plot of Coco. They must be willing to know more about the film and write a film review of Coco.
After finishing related tasks about the title of the film review, the plot, the comment and the complaint, at the end of the lesson all the students should know how to write a film re view.

After reading the film review in Project, the students will know what should be included in a review.

After analyzing the cartoon film Coco, the students will be able to write a film review.

（复习上一堂课所学，同时很自然地引出影评的写作格式。在上一堂课中，学生已经学习了Project课文Harry Potter and the philosophy’s stone。在本课导入部分，对学生的家庭作业“复述课文”进行检查，然后一起朗读课文中的对影评写作有用的句型，为影评写作打下铺垫，起到承上启下的作用。）
