Step 1 Lead-in

T: Who is the boy in the picture?

S: He is our monitor.

T: What is he doing now?

S: He is handing out the test papers.

目的：激发学生兴趣。为下面的呈现提供原始素材。

2.①Ask the students to join the two sentences by using an attributive clause.

The boy who is handing out the test papers in our monitor.

先行词: the boy

定语从句由关系代词who 引导.

Make a summary

关系代词that, which, who, whom, whose, as

关系副词: when, why, where

关系代词和关系副词有三大作用，即

连接（连接定语从句和主句）

替代（替代前面的先行词）

成分（在定语从句中要充当一定的句子成分）

目的：分析刚才的定语从句的结构，复习“先行词”“关系代词”“关系副词”等概念。要求学生回忆这部分知识，教师不应该代劳。
