教学思路分析：

本节课是通过阅读一则消息及不同行业的人对这则消息的采访结果后写一封倡议性。整堂课主要是通过从写作内容和段落组织上指导学生为最终的写作做准备；通过展示学生习作、纠错让学生在语言表达上有所提升。

教学步骤：

Step 1: Lead in

Introduce the topic and Present today’s learning tasks directly

Step 2: Pre-writing

Analyse the outline of the letter to be written: the contents & the structure

Step 3: Preparations

1. Make preparations for the contents: “Should tough rules on smoking be enforced in Liyang?”

●Read the interview results and decide whether they support the ban or not

●Have a discussion to collect information from students

●Have students write down their views and reasons

●Help students correct and polish up their expressions with some suggestions

2. Make preparations for the structure: How to organize a paragraph?

● Topic sentence---supporting sentences---Concluding sentence

● Show an example

Step 4: Writing

The students are expected to two write the letter with the obtained information and skills.

Pick out some of their compositions and get the students to appreciate beautiful sentences.

Get the students read and recite two possible reference articles.

Step 5: Homework

The students are required to make a conclusion on some useful expressions
