Step2: Introduce the mistakes that should be avoided in a summary.
After reading a short story, several possible versions of the summary are showed. Students are asked to tell the mistakes or unsuitable points in the given summary.

An article about getting up early is presented, after which the teacher gives students three questions about the article. All the questions are the key points of the essay. Students are asked to write a summary according to the three questions.

Besides, students are asked to conclude another material within 30 words. After students’ presentation, the module essay is showed. Students ought to focus more attention on the module2.
