依据高考新课标要求和所执教班级的学情,本文设计了以学生自主学习为主的阅读教学实践课,旨在理解文章意义的基础上以提高学生的语言实践能力,同时形成自我保护的价值观。本着一切以学生为出发点,积极创设语言环境,让学生主动地进行听说读写的语言训练,突出学生的阅读技能训练、课堂展示能力、文章结构处理及内容归纳能力的培养,从而使学生领会语言信息的输入与输出的内在联系,引发学生对艾滋病这一现象的关注,并引导学生独立思考,以讨论、合作学习的方式完成阅读任务,最终达到英语学习的最优化。

教学设计说明:课堂设计主要是希望能够通过一些微技能的训练,如排序,略读等帮助学生把握文章大体框架。思维导图的设置是在学生把握文本框架后,为了引导学生逐步厘清每个部分的主要内容等。讨论环节的设计是促使学生对课文进行深层次理解,让学生正确认识艾滋病以及对艾滋病人形成正确的态度,注重培养学生的核心素养中的合作意识和人文素养。

【设计意图】首先通过判断题初步了解艾滋病,从黄丝带引出红丝带,再到地图上的观察,发现和了解艾滋病的危害和严重性。
