1、 Warm-up
(1)Greetings
(2) Lead-in:
T: How was your sleep last night?
S1:It was good.
T: What about you?
S2: I had a good night.
T: I am glad to hear that you had a good night, but I hadn’t, because I had been working until 12 o’clock. I mean,
I usually sleep at about 9:30 .But last night
I slept at about 12 o’clock.
Let student pay attention to the two verbs “sleep””slept”.
【教学设计说明】热身实际上也是个导入的过程,通过谈论昨晚的睡眠,一方面使学生复习活动短语,一方面使学生进一步明白一般现在时与一般过去时的含义。为区别新课中的一般过去时做了铺垫。
2. Presentation (呈现新知识)
(1)OK, next we will the school trip in the past.
T: Do you know the school trip?
S: Yes.
T: Do you like the school trip?
S: Yes.
T:Even if we don’t have the school trip but we can learn about it from the English book.
OK, now look at the screen.
Present the PPT and new phrases: go for a walk, milk a cow, ride a horse, feed chickens, talk with a farmer, take some photos.
T: Talk about the activities on the screen one by one with the students. And lead the students read the phrases together.
