1.Do you like shopping online? Shopping online bring us a lot of joy.However we maybe cheated when buying things from the Internet.
Now let’s watch a video clip and see what happened to the girl shopping online.
2.Ask students to tell what happened to the girl.
3.After the students’ discussion, the teacher sums up:Obviously the girl has fallen victim to cybercrime. This is crime that takes place over a computer network. By the way have you ever been the victim of cybercrime?
4.Ask students to ask and then make some comments.
5.Nowadays anyone with access to the Internet should be worried because cybercrime seems to be everywhere. some criminals commit fraud or lift intellectual property. Others snatch passwords or unleash viruses to crash computers. The Panda Burning Incense infected millions of PCs several years ago. This kind of virus spreads across a networking by copying itself.
6.Consequently, these hackers do a great damage to companies and computer users.So today we are going to learn a new passage: fight against cybercrime. Please turn to page xx.
