Teaching procedures:
Step 1: Brainstorming
Speaking of jobs, what comes to your mind? What is your ideal job for the future?
(Students are expected to give their ideal jobs and briefly state the reason.)

Step 2: Be a quick reader
Read the passage and figure out the structure & development.
(Students are given 3 minutes to read the passage, figure out the structure and how the passage is developed. Remind students to read in silence.)
设计意图:通过限时阅读文章,快速找出文章的主旨句、三种职业分类及例子,回顾扫读和略读的阅读策略。
Step 3: Be a smart reader

(Students are likely to read related sentences from the passages. Then they are expected to paraphrase these sentences.)
