textbook 本次授课内容为鲁教版第十单元 Is there a post office near here? B (1a—1d)部分。本部分在Section A的基础上进一步拓展话题,是一节听说课。围绕问路,指路展开话题,贴近生活,能够引起学生兴趣。通过本课时的学习,在听力技能上,学生能通过听力训练能够比较准确的获取听力材料的关键信息。例如:学生能听懂并能抓住对话中描述的两个地点的名词和对话中表示方位和方向的词汇及表达。在语言技能上,学生能根据话题内容进行分角色在情景中表演对话或改编对话参与简单的角色表演。在情感态度上,学生能认识到学习英语的目的在于交流和能在英语交流中注意并理解他人的情感。Analysis of the students学生在已经学过 Where is …? Step 2 Presentation. (8mins)
1.Show some pictures of traffic signs on the screen and teach the new words and expressions and show the students how to guide others like this: Go along .... Street, turn right at the first crossing… After that , practice the sentences.

2. Ask students to direct the way using the phrases we learned.

Step 3 Listening 1b&1c.(10 mins)
1. Lead the students to have a quick look at the picture in 1b,and read the conversation in 1c by themselves.
2. Play the tape for the first time and guide the students to finish 1b. and then check the answers.
3. Listen again and Finish 1c, then check the answers.
4. Ask the students to read the conversation in 1c together.
5.Pairwork. According to the picture, role-play the conversation.

Step 4 Game time.(10mins)
Play a game Where is Ms Yue? to check if the students could give and follow the directions. Ask several students to walk on the map according to my directions .
