Display a scene of a neighborhood narrated by a student and let the other students guess the narrator by the voice. During the game, Students will be amazed by the narration. Then, they are told to compete to speak for their neighborhood. Whoever performs the best will be chosen as to be the best spokesman or spokeswoman

设计意图:以荆州电视台“我为社区代言活动”导入课堂,激发学生向大家介绍,描述自己社区的积极性。并将选拔活动关窗整个课堂。

Step 2.review the places, positions and expressions.

1 .Students are competing to speak out words of places and the prepositions of location

2. Students are competing to show the directions and tell how to get to the places.

设计意图:通过词句PK活动,复习有关方位,地点及指路的表达,做好写作的语言储备。

Step3.listen and fill in the passage

1. Students are asked to finish the sample passage by listening.

2. Students are guided to ask questions about each paragraph. and answer.

设计意图: 通过学生对范文内容的自主提问,并回答的方式,引发学生思考:介绍我的小区

该写些什么。

Step 4. Discuss and collect sentences.

Students discuss and find out sentence patterns to answer the questions they brought out just now.

Where? What? Why? How?

设计意图:学生通过小组讨论,尽可能地收集本单元有关上述问题表达的不同句子,以确保学生写作时语言的丰富性。

Step 5. Write about a neighborhood.

Students are asked to write a passage about a neighborhood according to the guidance they have learned about.

Step6.Check the writing

Students mark their own writing first and then exchange the papers to mark them gain.

设计意图:通过学生自评和互评,品赏佳作,引导学生欣赏佳作,佳句, 同时反思自己的作品,发现问题解决问题,有助于学生提高书面表达中的语言准确性,培养学生通过自己独立思考,来解决问题的能力。

Step 7. Show and speak for your neighborhood.

Students are competing to stand on the stage to speak for their neighborhood. Other students are asked to find out the best performer.

设计意图:学生上台为自己的社区代言。既呼应了开头的代言人招募选拔活动

,又给了更多机会给更多学生展示自己的习作,充分激发了学生写作并敢于分享的积极性。

Step 8. Summarize and value the learning
