Step 1. Lead-in. (5 minutes)
Have a free talk about the advantages and disadvantages of city and rural life, then voice your own opinions.
Step 2. Pre-reading (6 minutes)
1) Present the students the questions before listening to the text.
2) Get the students to listen to the tape and then answer the following questions.
How are city and country lifestyles different in China? 2) Can you imagine city and country lifestyles in Britain?
Step 3. While-reading (20minutes)
