Teaching Steps

Step 1 Lead-in

Review some words about qualities that students have learned by showing some pictures.

设计意图：开始以比较直观的形式回顾一些已学并且简单的单词，给学生留下好的第一语感，激发学习词汇的兴趣和积极性，为进入下一步词汇学习创造良好的心理准备。

Step 2 Presentation

Skill 1 :Picture-show

设计意图：以图片的形式介绍一些只需要理解意义的词汇，引导其正确发音的形成，让学生在直观，体验，实践中体会学习词汇的乐趣。

Skill 2 :Word- formation

Knowing how prefixes and suffixes work can help increase your amount of vocabulary.

设计意图：以学生熟悉的词（self)引出词形的变化，改变了词义，让学生在讲解中感受其变化和使用，目的在于培养起词缀法学习意识，帮助学生更好地扩展词汇量，减少记忆压力。

Skill 3 :Comparison

List some opposite words for the students to observe and find out the meaning.

Skill 4 :Summarize
