（二）文本分析： 本文是一篇新闻采访，前文简短介绍了Christopher Reeve和坠马事故，然后是采访问答录。揭露了Christopher Reeve的人生观和性格特征。

（三）学情分析： 1. 高一的学生活泼好动，对新鲜的事物有强烈求知欲。

2. 由于高一学生积累的知识较少，所以学习新单元时，有词汇障碍。

3. 高一学生阅读技巧欠缺。

（四）教学目标：1.To help students get the main idea of the article by searching for the topic sentence and the key words of each paragraph.

2. To have students figure out Christopher Reeve’s feelings after the accident;

3. To enable students to form their own opinion of Christopher Reeve by acting as Christopher Reeve in the role play.

4. To encourage students to share what they have learn in group discussion.

1. Watch the video and match the adjectives suitable for the film characters.
