Christopher Reeve was known as the man acted Superman. In 1995, when (ride) his horse, Christopher fell to the ground and (break) his back. He couldn't move the muscle below his shoulder level and for six months after his accident he could not even (breath) without help. However, despite his terrible injuries, he wanted to do was to carry on as normal a life as he could. He spent a lot of time travelling around America, speaking for people who were in the same situation he was. Christopher Reeve and many others believed that the only thing stopping scientists from (find) a cure for their injuries was money for research.
In 1996, he began to raise money medical research to find a cure, and also to support programs that could improve the quality of life for (disable) people. It was (amaze) that Christopher Reeve returned to the movie world finally.
