II. Students Analysis
Up to now, the students have been adapted to the learning in senior high school more or less.
The students are common students from the countryside junior school. They haven’t master enough vocabulary and slow reaction in class. They can not use proper words and phrases to express themselves clearly.
Ⅲ. Teaching Aims
After this period, the students can:
1. tell the names and dates of Chinese important traditional festivals and some western common festivals.
2. tell the foods and activities related to the important festivals mentioned in this lesson.
3. learn to use the related sentence patterns to introduce festivals.
4. get familiar with the methods of rational cloze.
Ⅳ. Teaching Important Point
Practice students’ speaking ability and try to apply the related sentence patterns.
Ⅴ. Teaching Difficult Point
Instruct the students to introduce a festival by using the sentence patterns.
