T:Appreciate a short video. After that, please guess what our topic is.
Ss:Students will give their answers.
T: well, as you say, today, our topic is “Weddings”
Step 2. Learning the new words
T:Show some pictures with the key words : bride ,bridegroom, best man, ceremony, entrance, wedding reception, and lead students to read them.
Step 3. Reading
1. Skimming
T:Wedding customs are different in different countries. Now we will read the article about Indonesian Weddings. Try to read fast and judge three statements true or false.
Listening
S: Listen to the tape and remember what to do and what not to do in Indonesia Weddings.Then discuss with Ss and answer questions.
Enjoy the video about Indonesian Wedding.
4. Ss will read the article about Greek Weddings. Try to read fast and judge three statements true or false.
5. Listen to the tape and tell me what happens before, during and after Greek Weddings.(give students time to discuss.)
