In the teaching process, in order to help the students efficiently input and successfully output relevant knowledge, various activities will be held where their language skills are to be cultivated. The music and clips of cartoon vedios are used to motivate the students' interest, the pictures are used to help students' understand the new words. Pair work and discussion will be used to motivate the students to actively join in class activities and greatly strengthen their team spirit. Students are expected not only to enrich their knowledge about foreign wedding cultures, but also have a further understanding of our Chinese weddings customs
Analysis of the students:
Senior one students are very active and creative but it is very difficult for most of them to speak up in class. it’s also tough for them to have a good grasp of the passage. What they need is guidances on learning strategies, which are in the form of reading strategies in a reading class.
Cultural awareness is also what they need to deepen. So in this class, they are expected to know more about foreign cultures. such as Indenesian and Greek weddings customs.
