Step1 Organization

T: Good afternoon, class!

S: Good afternoon, Miss Tian!

T: Is everyone here?

S: Yes, teacher.

T: Ok, take out your book.

Step 2 Lead-in

T: Here are some pictures, can you describe the people?

S: Yes, Miss Tian.

S: Marry is short. Tom is tall.

T: Good job.

S: Jack is fat. Jim is thin.

T: Ok, very good. How about this one?

S: A is big. B is small.

T: Well down. The last picture.

S: Mike is outgoing. John is quiet.

T: Ok, well down. Do you know how to compare each group of people?

S: No, teacher.

T: Today let’s learn unit 3 I am more outgoing than my sister. After that we will know how to compare people.

Step3 Presentation

T: Today we will learn the changing of comparative degree. First let’s look at the screen. There are some words and its comparative forms. I will give you 5 minutes to summary the rule of the changing. Ok start.
