Step one: Greetings
Greet the students.
Step two: Warming up
Students listen to an English song We Wish You A Merry Christmas .Then they watch a vedio and try to remember all the things they will see. They are asked to classify all the things according to Christmas symbols, Christmas activities and Christmas date.
Step three: Reading
Ask students to cover the last part of the story, scan the whole text and then guess the ending of the story. After that, they are asked to divide the story into three parts. Group work to discuss the main idea of each part.

Students read the novel carefully , find all the actions that happened in the story,
