Process and methods:
students can use the methods discussed in the class to polish their essay
Emotional attitude and values:
students can write an invitation themselves
students can confidently communicate with others by letters

students can get the key information about a good essay after class
students can write their own essay

Students write an essay by using some advanced words,sentences and linking words.
Ⅳ. Teaching procedures:
Step1 Lead-in
Ask students “what makes a good essay in your opinion?”
Show students the standard of a good essay
Step2 Pre-writing
Show the topic that we are going to talk and ask students to write an outline of the essay.
Step3 While-writig
show an article which has some mistakes and ask students to correct them.Then make a conclusion a good essay should no spelling mistakes,no Chinglish,no grammatical mistakes.
Polish an essay
Advance sentences
A.model sentences “Could you please do...?” “Would you like to do..?” “I wonder if you could do..?”
Ask students to change some sentences by using model sentence.
B. Sentences’ continuing writing
Ask students to continue writing sentences by using some guide words “ so that, if, because, which...”
