To practise using will and going to to talk and write about the future.
Teaching difficulties and important points: To revise Present Simple and Present Continuous. How to get the students to learn about some different views on the Internet and some possible changes it can bring to our lives.
Teaching methods:
Listening, talking, reading, explaining and discussing
Teaching Aids: Multimedia, computer and tape recorder.
Teaching procedures:
StepⅠ. Lead in.(5-10mins)
Review the vocabulary learned yesterday.
Ask students to match the meaning with several words: hacker, chaos, terrorist,
the Net (Internet), virtual reality, crash. Use some pictures and sentences to explain these words.
Make students enjoy a video clip and think about these two questions:
1.Does this happen in the present days or in the future?
2.What can you think of from this video?
After the video, ask them:
Which of these topics do you find in the video?

5. Show the heading of this lesson to the students.
Step II .First Reading.(2-5mins)
Play the tape recorder for the first time listening.
This time, give them two questions about the subject of this article: .What will the future of Cyberspace look like? .Will they affect our lives ? And how ?
Students may find the answers in the last paragraph so that they know the general idea of the last paragraph.
Step III.Second Reading.(5-10mins)
Play the recording for the second time. In this time, let students find the main ideas (topics)of each paragraph. Teacher can use several sentences as headings for each paragraph.
