Analysis of the students:
Students of Grade One is familiar with the topic, for they often search for information or chat online. Thus, their interest in this class can be easily aroused. But they know little about the history of the Internet.
Teaching objectives:
By the end of the class, students will be able to:
briefly introduce the development of the Net.
look for information on the English Websites.
use listening strategies---How to get the main idea and specific information /abbreviation in note-taking /important words (prominently stressed words) to understand what they hear.
understand and use the functional expressions for telephoning and making suggestions.
be aware of the importance of using the Internet properly.
Teaching importance:
1)to briefly introduce the development of the Net.

Teaching difficulty:
use the functional expressions to make suggestions for the weekend plan by phone

Ask them the following questions:
What do you think of the short video? ( useful, fun…)
Where do I get the video? ( visit a website…)
The purpose of the design: generate students’ interest and lead in the topic—websites.
