这节课的教学内容是北师大必修第四册Unit 4 Virtual Tourism 第一课，本课围绕tourism的话题展开教学活动，是以阅读策略为重点的阅读课。阅读的内容是类似旅游手册的概况介绍。文本材料为一篇旅游宣传文章，熟悉了解新西兰及奥克兰的历史，地理位置及旅游景点,具有很强的实用性。学生在前面三课已经充分了解到网络，网站和虚拟现实的内容，为本课的阅读和输出奠定了基础。设计的理念是学以致用，热爱并且能够宣传我们的家乡。

Enable the students to get the main idea of each paragraph through topic sentence, and get specific information about Auckland through reading, and voice their opinions about Hefei.

To use the information from the text to finish some exercises.

Students can learn guide of Auckland, thus they can know foreign culture and spread our Chinese culture, which will arouse our love for hometown.
