(2). Ability aims

a. To practice some strategies of listening for understanding.

① Before listening, you should read the questions and try to predict the content of listening materials.

② The first time you listen, try to get the general idea and take notes.

③The second time you listen, listen carefully and try to write down the answers.

b. To develop the ability of expressing opinions about Beijing Opera with what we learned by making a dialogue.

c. To develop the abilities of studying by themselves and cooperating with others.

(3). Moral aims

a. To increase students’ interest in traditional culture, especially in Beijing opera by completing the task.

b. To help students set up the awareness of corporation and self-confidence in themselves.
