Teaching Procedure:
Step1, Greeting and free talk “What did you do last weekend?”
I visited my grandparents in the countryside. I fed the chickens with my grandma, I went fishing with my grandpa....
Step2, Revision:
First, make a report about Carol’s school trip.
Second, Revise the past tense of some regular and irregular verbs. Then using these words to finish a letter that is from Bill to Jim.
Step3, Learn the new lesson.
First, show students some pictures, talk about these pictures,at the same time,learn some new words. For example: museum/an art museum/ go to an art museum/ visit an art museum....
Second, through the simple conversation, let students know the difference between the simple present tense and the simple past tense.
Third, finish 1a, match the activities with the pictures.
Step4, 1b,
First,listen and answer the questions.
1, How was Jane’s trip?
2, How was Tony’s trip?
Second, listen again. What did Jane and Tony do on their last school trip, fill in the form.
Third, listen and repeat. Pay more attention to some sentences that are used to describe their trip.
Eg: Oh, it was terrible!
There were so many interesting things to see.
The food was really delicious.
It was so much fun.

Step5, Writing
First, teach students some adjectives to describe what they see,they do and their feelings.Such as:lovely, exciting, expensive,fast
slow....
Second,make a conversation: “What was your last school trip like?”(Group work)

反思及点评:这节课一个明显的特点就是实用性强,没有什么“花架子”,注重了旧知识的复习,多种形式的教学活动强化了一般过去时的掌握和应用,重视学生的听和写两大技能。不管哪一种课堂教学模式,英语课教学都是以培养学生“听、说、读、写”四种基本技能为主。因此,在教学活动设计中,基本上围绕这四种技能展开。这节课,主要是培养学生的听和写的能力。在完成听力任务之前,复习了上一节课所学的“school trip”中的短语,重点强调动词过去式的规则变化和不规则变化,新单词的学习是在对话情景中呈现,以便学生加深印象。在完成听力的两个任务之后,要求学生根据所听的内容,用自己话简单的复述了听力材料中两个学生“Jane 和Tony”的“Last school trip”,目的是为了下一个环节的写作任务而准备。写作的设计,一方面复习了Unit 8 的内容,另一个方面,就是一般过去时是初中阶段很重要的一个时态,学会用一般过去时记叙一次活动是写作中的一个重要题材。这些就是我这节课教案设计以及教学活动设计的初衷和目的。这节课不足的就是教学任务设计给学生的提示太多,主要是因为七年级的学生语言表达能力有限。 这在今后的教学中,给我的启示就是初中三年的英语教学要确定一个整体的教学目标,即:七年级英语教学要以“听说”为主,八年级则以“读”也就是阅读能力的培养为主,九年级要以“写作”能力的培养为主。
