学生分析
学生对文章的结构理解没有问题，对文章所呈现的大致内容也很清楚。但是由于学生本身对画作这一领域并没有专业知识，在如何欣赏画作方面知识不足，并且在之前也很少会接触描述画作的地道的专业的英语表达，所以阅读含有较多生词的这篇阅读中还是会存在问题。但是文章的主题是艺术，这一话题本身能够引起绝大部分学生的兴趣，因此可以激发学生探究学习的热情。通过本课的学习也会有助于学生欣赏画作的水平和方法，通过价值观的引导可以使学生对于不同品味会理解与尊重并且同时提高自己的品味。
三、教学目标：
Language Knowledge:
After this lesson, students will be able :
1) to master some important words and phrases such as exhibition, missile, shade, creature,
elegantly, fix one’s eyes on
2) to master some sentence patterns to describe a painting such as “He drew in black to show...”
Language Skill:
After this lesson, students will be able to describe a painting with certain words and phrases.

After this lesson, students will be able :
1) to underline key words while listening and reading.
2) to take down notes while listening to the teacher.
3) to get the specific information of each part and organize the information cleverly.

After this lesson, students will be able :
1) to find and enjoy the beauty of a painting;
2) to respect others’ tastes and work hard to improve their own tastes.
教学方法
Use reading strategies to teach the students to get the detailed information quickly. Pay attention to some key words and underline them while listening and reading.
Repeat and consolidate the information of the paintings so that the students can describe a painting in the discussion part.
