Step1: warm -up
Show a video about paper cuts to arouse students’ interests in the topic.
Step2:Before reading
Show students some paper cuts and teach some new words.
Step3:while reading
Ask students to read the whole passage quickly and match the main ideas with each paragraphs to help students to get the general structure of the text.
Then ,show students some detailed questions and ask them to read the text again to find the answers .
Step4 After reading
Present a summary of the text and ask students to fill in the blanks with the words from the text.
Step5 Speaking
Show some different patterns of paper cuts and ask students to work in groups and talk about the paper cuts.(This is a paper cut of a baby...)
