3. 使用时间衔接词和短语讲述课文故事.使学生应用科学方法检验求证，得出结论。

教学过程:

Pre-reading

Step1 lead-in

T presents some pictures to motivate students’interests

通过词汇和图片引出本课故事背景.

Step 2

T presents 6 words and asks Ss to ?nd them in the pictures.

预学生词

Step 3 Ss look at the three pictures on P14– 15 and put them in a correct order.

While-reading

学生尝试利用图片预测故事。

Step 4 T asks Ss to read through the three paragraphs and sequence them. Ss check answers in pairs.

学生初步意识和体验以时间衔接词、短语为线索，理清故事发展的脉络的阅读策略。

Step 5

T presents the new words and asks Ss to guess the meaning in context. Then Ss match the words with de?nitions.
