Lead Ss to answer: Titanic, Jaws, Treasure Island, the Piano, the Day after Tomorrow…
2) What did you think of them?

2. Enjoy a film and then introduce it briefly.
The Day after Tomorrow is a 2004 American science-fiction film that describes a disaster caused by both global warming and global cooling and storm from the systems that are about to wipe out all life on earth and dawning a new Ice Age.
Step 2 Pre-reading
1. Vocabulary:
2. Look at the pictures and try to put them in right order.
1) Read each paragraph, paying attention to the linking words. e.g. one day, suddenly, in the end—
2) Decide a possible order for the paragraphs.
3) Read them in that order to see if the story makes sense.
