Teaching Key and Difficult Points:
It is a little bit difficult for students to make predictions about the story according to the three
pictures in the textbook.
The key point of this lesson is to help students grasp linking expressions related to time and
sequence in telling a story.
Teaching Procedures
Step 1 Lead-in
Ask students to see several groups of pictures of the sea to lead in the topic.
Step 2 Warm-up
Show some pictures to help students get familiar with the key words of this lesson:barrel, cloud, fisherman, fishing boat, horizon, moon, wave, whirlpool; at the same time, students will be asked to predict what may happen in the story.
Step 3 Reading
Task 1 Read quickly and answer question.
This story is organized in the order of:
