3. Ask the question: Do you want to go to the Antarctic for travel?

Intention: To attract students with the beautiful scenery of the Antarctic. Then shock them with the truth of the terrible environment there. To let them know it’s never easy to explore the Antarctic.

Step 2. Pre-reading

Ask the students to predict what the passage is talking about by reading the title and looking at the two pictures.
