Step 1. Before Reading
Lead in
Question: Look at these pictures: What are the names of these means of transportation ? And lead to the topic of the lesson :on the bike
[Intention]: Firstly, a video can catch students’ attention, arouse their curiosities and fire their imagination. Secondly, questions can also activate students’ existing background knowledge and get them ready for the following reading.
Stip 2.While-reading
1 Fast reading:
Find the main idea of each paragraph.
Guidance: Pay attention to the first sentence of each paragraph.
