Next, it is about students. My students are in senior 1. on the one hand, they are active ,curious about topics like “Money” and “How to spend money”, so their attention will be easy to be attracted. On the other hand, even though they are senior school students, their abilities of solving problems and expressing ideas still need to be cultivated. So in this period, I’ll arrange a variety of situations to help them participate in my class.
Part III Analysis of teaching aims
After studying the teaching material and analyzing the students, I think the teaching aims are the following:
Knowledge objects:
(1) The students can master the use of phrasal verbs with give, go and drop as well as other key words: greedy, enjoyable, determine, concern and so on.
(2) The students can understand the content of the lesson.
(3) The students can read a text to find out specific facts
2. Ability objects:
(1)To develop the Ss? abilities of speaking, reading, and writing, especially speaking and reading abilities.
(2) To develop students? awareness of cooperation
(3) To use the information from the text to finish some exercises
3. Emotional objects:
Students can learn different lifestyles of some millionaires and different ideas about money. Thus they can build up a correct attitude towards money.
