Step Ⅱ Warming up
Let students express how to use their pocket money from your parents. Ask students to say what things they like to spend money on.
Imagine that you only have 5 yuan, what can you buy with it?
Step Ⅲ Pre-reading
1. Students predict the content of the article by looking at the pictures and the title.
2. Ask them to read the paragraph in italics to check whether their predictions are true or not.
Step Ⅳ While-reading
