T shows some pictures of hot topics to raise the Ss’s interest and introdeces the structure of news.教师利用热点新闻的图片吸引学生的注意力,介绍新闻体裁的特点。Step 2T teaches some new words with pictures.利于图片,创设语境,帮助学生理解重点词汇。Step 3T asks Ss to predict what will be talked about in the news based on the title, the picture.根据标题、图片和已获得信息预测阅读内容,培养学生读前预测的能力。Step 4First reading: Ss skim the news and check their prediction. 核对预测信息,了解新闻大意。Step 5Careful reading (1): Ss read the first piece of news carefully and get detailed information about the background of G8, the problems discussed in the meeting and people’s comments.提取和整理第一则新闻的细节信息,加深学生对新闻结构的认识。在语境中学习和理解重点词汇。Step 6Careful reading (2): Ss read the second piece of news to understand the structure and get detailed information.提取和整理第二则新闻的细节信息,加深学生对新闻结构的认识。在语境中学习和理解重点词汇。Step7Further reading: Ss read the words in red and summarize the form of the Passive.在语篇中感知被动语态,总结被动语态的结构。Step 8Post-reading: Rewrite the newspaper report related to London the day after the announcement using the Passive where possible. 被动语态在初中已学过,划出重点部分,让学生自己尝试进行主被动的变形,进一步理解被动语态的用法。Step9Summary学生总结新闻的结构和特色。Step 10Homework:
