Teaching procedures:
Step1 leading in
1. show some pictures of Princess Diana and tell Ss about her and her death
2. watch a short video to introduce the paparazzi
Step2 pre-listening
1. Present vocabulary in context and help Ss match the words with their definitions.
2. Ss read through the listening strategies
Step3 while-listening
1. First listening: Ss listen to the radio programe and choose the topics in this dialogue
2. Second listening: T divides the listening material into three parts and plays them separately.
Ask Ss to answer the questions after listening.
3. Third listening: Ss listen to the recording again from the beginning to the end to complete a summary to help Ss gain an overall understanding
Step4 Post-listening
1. Ask Ss to express opinions about their attitude to paparazzi
2. Ss watch a section of video about Diana’s funeral and enjoy the song “Candle in the wind”
