三、教学重、难点及教学突破

使用含有who, where, how, what等特殊疑问词的句子谈论过去的活动。

关于一般过去时,上一个单元已经学习了一般疑问句及其回答,以及How引导的谈论过去活动的句型,本单元要学习what,who,where引导的谈论过去活动的句型,通过展示多个学生的周末活动创设语境,运用pairwork, listen,read,role-play和onion rings等多种手段达到巩固及灵活运用的效果。

四、过程与方法

本单元的周末活动这一话题非常贴近学生的学习生活,大家对这一话题兴趣浓厚且充满期待。通过情景导入、听说练习、师生互动、生生互动的教学环节设置,采用Practicing,Imitating and repeating,Role playing and onion rings的学习策略,利用多媒体课件来展开课堂Pair work问答式的口语交际活动,谈论各自的周末和假期活动,以增进同学之间的了解和友情。

五、教学步骤:(1课时)

Step1: Lead-in.

Show students a video and learn to sing a song What did you do today to warm up.

看视频,学唱歌曲What did you do today,用可爱的卡通形象、欢快的音乐节奏感唤起同学们对课程的浓厚兴趣。

And then show students three photos about the teacher’s last weekend to lead in today’s topic What did you do last weekend? and then ask them to talk with their deskmates.

通过向学生介绍老师本人周末活动的照片,然后非常自然的向学生抛出问题:What did you do last weekend?并让他们同桌讨论,并做简单交流。用老师自己的事例导入,更容易引起学生的共鸣。

Step2: Pairwork

Show students six pictures about Lucy’s weekend to learn some expressions of weekend activities: camp by the lake,go to the beach, play badminton, do her homework...and then ask students What did Lucy do last weekend? to lead in to the past forms: camped, played, went, did...Next, work in pairs, ask and answer What did Lucy do last weekend? She...

通过展示我们的新朋友Lucy周末活动的图片,创设语境,来学习有关周末活动的新短语,直观形象。通过问学生What did Lucy do last weekend? 导入动词的过去式:played, camped, went, did...并带领学生朗读直至熟练。然后同桌之间进行问答,谈论Lucy的周末活动,最后进行展示。

Step3: Listening

Use a picture to lead in the listening. 2a listen and ask students to learn about what the three students did last weekend. 2b listen again and ask them know about who did these things.

运用课本插图导入听力,使学生在听之前对将要听的内容有所了解。第一遍听,划出听到的单词,使学生了解听力中的三位学生上周末做了什么;第二遍听,通过写人名的方式使学生明确是谁做了这些事,为下面的对话环节做好铺垫。

Step4: Pairwork

Ask and answer some questions with what, where and who according to the information about 2a &2b.

通过表格列举的方式,使学生明确听力中的关键信息,再给出句型:What did...do last weekend? Where did ...go? Who...? 让同桌之间根据表格信息进行问答,学会使用含有who, where, what这些特殊疑问词的句子来谈论过去发生的事情,为后面的说和写的环节做好准备。

Step5: Reading

Use a picture to lead in the conversation. And then read the conversation and answer four questions. Check the answers and at the same time explain several language points: work as, kind of tired, stay up late...

Listen and imitate, pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. Then role-play the conversation.

引导学生观察课本插图,从图片中获取相关信息,进而提出问题:Where...? What...? 通过一读寻找问题答案并核对,同时对重要语言点进行讲解:work as, kind of tired, stay up late...然后通过二读,跟读录音来模仿语音语调;最后三读进行分角色朗读对话,为后面的输出环节做准备。
