Step 1 Warm-up
Greetings
Free talk with the students. Do you like weekends? Why?
Step 2 Play a guessing game.
Guess what the English teacher did last weekend.
Did you….. last weekend?
Then ask: What did you do last weekend?
Work in pairs and talk about their weekends.
Step 3 Presentation
Show students Lucy’s weekend. What did Lucy do in each picture?
Name each activity and the teacher writes them down on the blackboard.
Have the students repeat.
Step 4 Listening practice
Read the instructions in 1b and ask students to finish 1b.
Check the answers.
Listen again and fill in the chart.
