The Analysis of
Teaching Material
This is the third part of this unit whose topic is “career”. This reading material is about three characteristics, curiosity, perseverance and a commitment that make Wang Junyan a success and the experiences as a TV presenter. This article can help the Ss come close to a certain career, and encourage the Ss to face the challenge, work hard and insist on their dream. Through the critical reading, there will be great effect on Ss’ writing.

Students
The Ss are Senior Three of a normal school. Although they have learnt English for nearly three years in high school, most of the Ss probably have a poor command of vocabulary and reading skills, especially the critical thinking reading. So it will be difficult for them to finish the critical thinking reading task.
