Step 1 Warming up
Show some pictures of some famous people to see if the students can
recognise them. Then ask students to match some jobs with quotes to get familiar with the key words
Step 2 Pre-reading
In our life,there are many different kinds of jobs and also many successful people in their careers.Ask students what kind of jobs they will choose and if they are sure they will be successful in their jobs.
Step 3 While-reading
1.Ask the students to read the title and look at the two pictures to predict what is the main idea of this passage.
2.Ask the students to skim the passage quickly to find whether their predictions are right and then match the topics with the paragraphs
