Practise predicting before listening.过程与方法Warm up: Use a video of Tsinghua University to arouse the students’ interests to talk about different education, thus to lead to the two exchange students’ talking.
Before listening：
1．Deal with the difficult words in listening materials in advance.(worksheet)
While listening：
Let the students to listen to the material part by part to complete different given tasks, encouraging them to use the listening skill--- listening to take notes and complete information.
After Listening
4. Instruct the students to do some pair work, using the functional expressions learnt in class..
Homework

1. Do first-listening to take notes about Jack’s school.
2. Do second-listening to complete the information about Nicholas’ school.
3. Lead the students to look at the functional expressions in Ex.6 and guess their own answers.
4. Do third-listening to complete the function file with the expressions.1.To get a general understanding of the material at first, then focus on the important details of the material.
