Generally speaking, students in Class one have a better command of English than other regular classes, which allows the teacher to design assignments in different ways and on different levels（read the lines read between the lines SHAPE ﹨ MERGEFORMAT read beyond the lines）.

Teaching Aims: at the end of this class, students will be able to

know a comedy character and the comedian by reading and talking to partners;

understand some new words by referring to situations and the contexts.

make inferences by referring to situations and the contexts

get inspiration from the way the comedian grows and build confidence on themselves;

Strengthen the awareness of teamwork.

To improve the students’ reading efficiency of making inferences by jigsaw grouping;

To help students understand the comedian and the comedy character better by developing different reading levels;
