This lesson is taken from Unit 19 in Module 7.The topic of this unit focuses on “language”. By learning this lesson, Ss will understand what is body language and how it is used in daily communication. Besides, they ‘ll be aware of the important role of body language and learn to use it properly in some situations.
Analysis of students
The students in Senior Two have mastered a large vocabulary as well as some skills in learning English. Their reading ability has improved a lot and there’s not much difficulty in understanding the text for most of them. However ,some skills in reading still need improving ,such as summarizing the main idea and analyzing the detailed information . My class is a regular one ,and the levels of the students are quite different. Half of them are active and willing to express their opinions ,while there’re still some who can’t keep up because they lack confidence and don’t get into good habits of learning English.
