课堂教学过程设计:
Step1. Greeting. Greet the whole class as usual.
Step2.show several pictures of the rare animals,meanwhile ask the following three questions:
Question1:Can you see the following animals often?Why?
Question2:Why are they in danger of disappearing?
Question3:Why has the antelope become an endangered species?
(These three questions as the good lead-in can stimulate the students’learning interest quickly.)
Step3. guide the students to learn the Tibetan antelope’present situation ,arousing the
students’sympathy and thought of protecting animals.Meanwhile,learn the relative vocabulary and key expressions.(通过这一步,激发起学生对于野生动物生存现状的了解,唤起学生对动物的保护之心,从而达到学习本节课所要实现的情感目标,同时,在此过程中,学习本节阅读所需的关键词汇和表达,以为后续学习打好基础)。
Step4.Finish the fill-in the blanks exercise according to what we have learned in this period to consolidate the key and proper expressions(小组学习,共同完成练习,给学生五分钟时间,小组成员之间相互讨论,得出答案,然后教师邀请每组成员代表到讲台前与大家分享学习结论,在此过程中,对表现突出或有进步的同学给予及时鼓励和肯定,同时,对出错点教师给予及时纠正,从而在良好的学习氛围中自然地达成学习目标)
Step5.Next,finish the following simple sentence translation exercise to consolidate the key and proper expressions in first two paragraphs betterly.
1.根据老师所说,有些人渴望猎杀野生动物赚钱。(according to;long to earn money)
2.它们的皮毛可以被用来制作衣服。(be used to)
3.许多野生动物正在消失。(die out) 4.我们要保护野生动物免受伤害,并与它们和平共处。(protect...from being harmed, live in peace with) 5.昨天去参观野生动植物园时,班长叫我们注意安全。(pay attention to) 6.汤姆遇到一只老虎时非常兴奋,但是他有生命危险。(in danger) 7.有工作人员营救他,最后他脱离了危险,老虎也没受到伤害。(be out of danger;harm)
8.看到这样,我们如释重负地笑了。(burst into laughter in relief)
(叫八名同学,在黑板上写出句子,其余同学同时进行,在作文本上进行认真书写,8分钟后,教师带领学生一起,核对句子,适时的单句写作练习能很好地锻炼学生用合理的英文表达来思维,并且较好地连词成句,巩固本节所学重点词汇及表达)。
Step6.依据时间情况,如果时间允许,将以上句子连成一段语言流畅、用词准确、逻辑严密的短文。
